It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

I say that, but I only have my tree up - not decorated.  It is funny how much smaller it looked at the grocery store.  I wanted a tall tree because we have super tall ceilings.  Well, after Brett helped me get it into the house the other night, I realized that  sucker is huge, and I don't mean "ordinary huge".  I mean "humongous"!  That tree has got to be about 5 feet in diameter.  I had to take a chair out of the room just so it would fit into the family room.  Now I have to add the lights to it.  Man, am I dreading it.  I am wondering if I even have "enough" lights to do it!  What the heck was I thinking.  I was wanting a real tree so I wouldn't have to put together my artificial tree - which I still have to put light on as well.  Regardless, I have to say the real tree does smell nice.  Well, once I get it decorated I'll post a photo of it, so you can see I'm not lying about the size of that thing!

So, today is my day to do the blog for Nikki Sivils https://www.nikkisivils.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=BLOG .  These are my Christmas items for it, but I posted work from another dt gal as well.

He,hee you can see I went a little "glitter happy" on all my stuff.  It is a good thing Yankee wasn't in his usual spot under my feet when I was making them.  If he had been, I would guess he'd be sporting a sparklier coat now.   I would definitely have the most festive cat around.

Don't forget to leave a comment on my post from Sunday, to possibly win a "North Pole Nights" mini album kit by Nikki Sivils.  You can see the post under this one.  Good luck.

Using Different Patterned Papers with Pebbles, Inc.

I did this lo for one of our "Technique Tips" on the Pebbles, Inc. blog.  It was actually for this past Friday.  Since I was away for Thanksgiving, I didn't have a chance to post it until today, but the post is still up on the blog http://pebblesinc.blogspot.com/.  I had a lot of fun doing this lo,  I think I used every collection that was sent to me in my design kit from Pebbles, Inc.  You can see that they don't really "go together", but the way I've made the flower as sort of a patch-work flower it "does go together".  Check out the blog for further ideas by some of the other dt members.

Twisted Sketches Sketch No. 24 Is Up!!

I love October Afternoon's papers!!  "Report Card" is no acception!  I think this line is just precious!  For this weeks sketch we had to use "distressing" and "three photos".  The old-time feel to these papers just lend themselves to distressing, don't you think?

If you would like to play along this week, check us out at Twisted Sketches

Altered House using Nikki Sivils "North Pole Nights"

I had a devil of a time taking a photo of this! There were too many shadows, it was blurry, my tree wouldn't stand up.... I have had this done for several days now, and today was the day to finally get a decent photo! However, it was fun to make. I love these papers from Nikki's Christmas line. I especially love the little elf. Isn't he just the cutest?

A lo using Nikki Sivils "North Pole Nights"

This is my hubby "modeling" his new boots from last Christmas. If you have seen lo's of him in the past, you usually know that he always acting goofy. I guess that is one of the reasons I love him! Everything on the lo is part of the Nikki Sivils "North Pole Nights" collection - minus the goofy pics and letters. To see what other adorable products she carries, check out her website here https://www.nikkisivils.com/mm5/merchant.mvc Thanks for looking!! Have a great weekend!!

Some Pebble's Inc. for ya!

I hardly ever do these clean line lo's or this size for that matter. However, I decided I would go for it. I actually love how it turned out. More so, I guess because I adore this photo of Hayden. I used Pebble's Inc. Downtown papers for this lo.
