Well we made it through Christmas. Some of us may still have family and friends still around or we may be at their home. In my case, we will be traveling there for New Years day. Still things are crazy. I take a moment and cuddle up in a chair with my Starbuck's latte and my latest magazine and escape for a moment from it all. Almost Here!

Well, in two days Santa comes down the chimney! Hayden is so excited. As soon as he saw that I wrapped presents, he was begging me to unwrap them. I had to pull out the "Santa doesn't bring bad little boys presents" saying. Lol, it's been my best friend lately. I wish I could hold that over his head all year long, but somehow I don't feel it would work. It still feels so strange that Christmas is almost here. This year has just flown by with our move. I mean the time is just gone. I still don't have my house in order.

I am a new Dreamgirl and winner over at Scrap N Win

After returning from our trip to Louisiana, I was pleased to receive an email telling me that I would be a new dreamgirl! If only my hubby thought so! I also received an email this morning stating that I won grand prize and first prize for traditional lo over at Scrap N Win. Above is my lo that one. It's an old one, but man the work that went in to that thing!! I was about ready to pull my hair out before I finished it!!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

Hope you all (well, my American friends and family that is) had a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving. Did you stuff yourself sick like I did? Brett's family always has way too much food and so much of everything. In Cajun country, you "know" they know how to feed their family!! We just got back in last night from our drive back. It was much better than going. Only a one - one hour wait in bumper to bumper traffic this go around. Driving there was a nightmare!! We traveled at least three times in one hour traffic jams and all because of silly little fender benders!!

Now, to get ready for Christmas!! Hmmm, I am so undecided about getting a real tree or put up my artificial tree - oh, what to do? :) Gotta decorate though! Hayden is old enough to get excited about having a tree. It was always one of my favorite memories as a child. I would just lie on the floor and stare at our tree - even when it was one of those metal trees. Oh, come on! I know "some" of you remember those! Then there is the shopping! Ugghh!! Does anyone hate the crowds like me? That is why I avoided Black Friday like the plague!! I'd rather pay that extra bit just to save my sanity!!

Anyway, once I've decorated for the holidays, maybe I'll get some of those house pics posted as promised!
