Pebbles, Inc.CHA Sneak Peeks!

We are so excited to share THREE new lines and a slew of brand new products -- all of which will debut next week at CHA Winter 2010! Take a look…

TREEHOUSE features fun, outdoorsy patterns in bold primary colors. Birdhouses, owls, clouds and trees provide a fun backdrop for scrapping summer memories or just accenting everyday life.

TWITTERPATED  is a bright, love-infused line perfect for springtime or love-filled layouts and cards. Vibrant flowers, delicate hearts and fun patterns on each of the double-sided patterned papers are sure to find a place in your heart.

MAY BOUQUET gives a vintage feel to delicate sentiments, with a muted color pattern and lovely designs. Perfect to commemorate weddings, springtime or the everyday.

ABC Stickers: New to the Pebbles lineup, we have glitter ABC stickers in three different fonts. These cardstock stickers are easy to apply and will help spell out any project or idea.

Chips: Updating another Pebbles classic, we’ve revamped our Chips chipboard shapes for the three new lines with smaller packages and new shapes – with multiple colors and patterns in each bag!
Ribbon: Adding to our best-selling Pebbles Ribbon spools, we are proud to offer new blister packs of ribbon. Each pack contains four different 1-yard rolls of ribbon in different textures like felt, velvet, glitter and patterned grosgrain.

Rub-Ons: Classic Pebbles duplicate rub-ons are back with more phrases – now with different fonts on one sheet, and introducing fun borders to match each line. We’ve also got bigger packs of colorful rub-ons, featuring different phrases, shapes and embellishments

Stickers: We have more duplicate stickers this year, now with five in a pack and featuring variations in colors. Also new for this year – larger word stickers and journaling stickers that are sure to meet every one of your scrapbooking needs.

Embellishments: Our classic Candy Dots are taking a step to the next level as we introduce a new glitter finish – adding a little more sparkle to the easy-to-use self-adhesive accessories. We will also offer epoxy and metal brads, another Pebbles first (shown below). Coordinating flowers for each line, in paper and plastic Stackers, match each color scheme and are easy to apply to projects using brads. Twenty unique shapes come in each pack.

There ya go!  All those goodies will come with each line.  How cool is that!

Sort of - will have to figure out how to make it pretty, lol.  Bare with me.  This one is temporary.  I need to find one more girly like me!

Bare with me, while I try to figure out out to do a three column blog!  Yikes, I am struggling so!

Pleating Paper Trend

Today on the Pebble's Inc. Blog, fellow design team member, Pam Callaghan, will be blogging about this popular trend in scrapbooking.  A few of us girls have given examples for today's blog.  Below is my example:

That is my adorable nephew and God son, Karson.  This little guy just loves anything to do with tractors.  If it is a John Deere tractor, it is even better.  I think those picks that his mommy Stacy took are so cute!

Want a little Graphic 45 Sneek Peak

Ok, so it's not really a peek, because truthfully you can go to the Graphic 45 site here and see all the new goodies coming out.  However, Graphic 45 is doing a blog relay this month with Couture Cardstock, and I made a couple of little cards for it.  I decided to use our new papers for you as well.  I really think you are going to love the new lines.  I am having a hard time deciding which line I like best!  Anywho, here are my cards for you.  (he,hee that rhymes)

Yay! My first Published Card - Paper Crafts Magazine!

I rarely do cards, and I rarely submit to magazines - so this truly a fluke, lol.  However, I am still happy to have it published.   If you haven't picked up this issue, you should.  There are so many cute cards in it.  Either that, or I must really like Valentines. I used Graphic 45 "Playtimes Past"  on my card.  It's the one using the little girl tag.  I have posted this on the Graphic 45 blog as well.  If you have something that has been published using Graphic 45 papers, we would be happy to post it our the G45 blog as well.

Thanks for looking!

I was so honored when they asked me to be a guest designer for them.  Their guest artists are so freaking talented - not to mention their team!  I also did my own sketch - my very first one at that, I have to say.  LOL, just don't laugh at it!  It was a lot of fun doing this lo, well, because it is about our Texas snow down here in Houston.  We have to buy it!  Hayden's little school every year has a "snow day".  They have an ice machine make snow for them, and then they go out and play.  There is never enough to build a snow man, unless he's about 3 inches tall.  However, we do throw snowballs at each other.  Yeah, I show up too.  You don't think I'd miss getting to throw snowballs do you?  I'll definitely miss those wonderful snow pictures I got to take in Massachusetts.  I would dare say that my husband is just glad to not be shoveling snow anymore.

Here is my sketch - hand drawn of course, because this dummy doesn't know how to do it in Photoshop yet.  Again, I said don't laugh!

They were kind enough to do one in Photoshop for me!

Thanks for looking, and thank you Pencil Lines for asking me to be a guest designer.  If you would like to play along or just check out their awesome site for inspiration, you can find them here Pencil Lines Blog.

Twisted Sketches Number 31!

Happy New Year everyone!  There's a song that says something like "over the hills and through the woods to Grand Mamma's house we go....".    Well, the road was flat and not so pretty getting there, I have to say.  I'm back in Texas where the land is flat, and it takes hours to get anywhere.  Over the holidays we were 5 hours one way over Christmas and 4 hours the other direction over New Years.  Glad to be back home, so we can settle back into our routine again.   Saying that, I hope all of you have had a great holiday season.  I wish you the best for the year 2010!

To honor that, the lo I did for Twisted Sketches is of New Years this year.  LOL, I am sick (dang sinuses!).  I probably had too much to drink, and I am for sure tired.  I tried, but I went to bed at 11:30.  I blame my friend.  If I had stuck to beer I could have hung, but she started giving me wine.  It does it to me everytime - knocks me out!  Anywho, here is the sketch and my take on it.  Anam wont have the sketch up at the site until this evening probably, but I am giving you the heads up if you want to play along.  The only technique for this one is to use "white".  Simple enough, huh?  You can play along here Twisted Sketches

And, then there is my take on it!
