The Color Room Challenge Palette No. 3

Well, do you recognize the photo?  We decided to do it.  I always had a doggy when I was a little girl.  I had such great memories of them.  I think Hayden needs it too.  It will, no doubt, be a lot of work and something we will have to get used to!  However, I know that having a doggy will add much joy to our lives.  This is not "our" puppy, but she will look like this.  I've have always loved a shaggy dog - maybe because my first dog was a Bearded Collie, which looks like a miniature sheep dog.  She was so sweet.  Then of course, I loved the movie Benji growing up.

The lo is for The Color Room palette number 3.  I tried to do number 2 (hmm... that doesn't sound very nice, does it? LOL), but I just wasn't feeling the colors with the papers I had in my stash.  I was happy with this color palette - nice and springy!!

You should check out their site.  The design team is amazing and has some of my favorite scrappers ever - not to mention some good friends!

What to do? A puppy or not?

Hayden and I have been after Brett to get us a puppy.  I fell in love with this breed when Brett and lived in England.  It is a Wheaten Terrier.  LOL, I even dreamed about them last night.  He finally willing to give in, if Hayden and I take full responsibility.  Now Hayden is six, mind you.  I already struggle having him keep his toys picked up... I'm not all that good myself.  I'll have to brush the baby everyday or every other day.  I also have Yankee to think of (our cat).  However, I always had a dog growing up, and they are such a fond part of my memory.  This dog is supposed to a kid a heart forever and fabulous with kids.  I want that for Hayden.  I just don't know if I am ready to do this all on my own.  Sometimes Hayden is enough, lol.  Awww, what to do?  Any suggestions or advice?  I'll have to keep the dog from chewing up everything - and of course, there is the potty training.....

Hopefully Tree House and the other two new collections will be hitting the stores soon.  Tree House is totally my favorite.  I love the colors and patterns on the papers!  Anywho...when I saw this paper I just had to make a birdhouse.

The Color Room?

Haven't heard of it?  Well, you need to check it out!!  It is a brand new challenge site with some absolutely amazingly talented ladies behind it.  When you see their design team, you will see what I mean!  The challenges are based on a color palette.  The first challenge is using pink, teal, white and gold.  This is my take on it.  If you want to check out the site, just go here The Color Room.

How can you say...

How much you really appreciate your blog followers?  You guys are simply the best.  I realize I am not :"up there" with some of the more famous scrappers.  I do have dreams though. :)  I have only be scrapping for 3 years now.  I know I have loads to learn.  However, thank you to those that have followed me and stood beside me while I grew as an arstit.  It is "you" who are truly the best.

I have said it before, but I just love my scrappy friends!  I hope you feel the same way!

Twisted Sketched Sketch No. 43 is Up!

This is such a pretty sketch as well.  I was looking forward to doing it, and I've not internet (or cable or phone) for two days.  Can't download photos, fix them or print them....Urrrgggghhh - and that is saying it nicely.   If you would love to play along with us Twisted Sisters, just check it out at the Twisted Sketches blog.   Our twist this week was to us a pattern (in any way shape or form).  I actually used a pa ttern paper from a pattern paper - makes sense, right?  Anyway, this is my take on the sketch.

Oh, and I've decided to quit scrapping.  I am just really tired of it!  Ok ok, April fools!  No way would I quit!   I have to use up all these scrap supplies or Brett is going to murder me!  I even keep buying even though it keeps me on the "endangered species" list.
