Our Design Team Challenge over at Nikki Sivils!

The object of the challenge was for one person to start by making a lo or a card.  The next person would find inspiration from that person's work and create something of their own and so on.....  This was a lot of fun.  I can't wait to see what the girls took from each lo before them.

Go check out Nikki Sivils blog to see each of our work in consecutive order and see how each of found inspiration from the girl before us.

ATD - Momenta Papers!

I have already done a few lo's this month using them, and I can not begin to tell how much I am loving the colors.  I am so excited about my papers that I received from them.  I have just tons of color ideas brewing in my wee little head.  Just recently they added a new design team, which I am fortunate to be a part of!  ATD - Momenta sells to big stores like JoAnn's, Michaels, AC Moore....

I often like to double up if I can on my design team or challenge blog projects, when and if I can.  I did lo for The Color Room, which you heard me mention before.  You will see my other ATD - Momenta lo's as I reveal them for other design teams.

Scrap It with Really Reasonable Ribbon!

On my last shipment of fabulous ribbons, I received what Bonnie, the owner of Really Reasonable Ribbon called "shorties".  They were the left over bits of ribbons she had in the store.  I sat down to do my lo for today and was inspired by that idea.  I decided to do something using my "scraps" and some of my new "shorties".  This is what I came up with!

I hope you check out the link above to the store.  There are tons of great ribbons to match your next project.  Also, be sure to check out the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog for more inspiring projects by the other design team girls!

Hmmm.... What does this mean?

Photobucket

I have some exciting news!!  This is site you know and love!!  You are not going to believe the design team that will be revealed!  These girls are stinking amazing!!!  Each week you are sure to be googly-eyed over their talent!  This is, of course, just a little "teaser".  There is more to come later, because I just "know" you are going to want to play along.  However, you are just going to have to keep coming back here to find out more details about my little secret!!

The babies are born!!

Brett and I both picked the same puppy from this photo.  We are leaning towards a little Cajun name with a little spice.  Of course, we both picked the little girl that thinks she hot and flaunting her stuff!  I'll keep you updated with current photos as we get them!

excess **Scrap Yourself Challenge Blog**

Hey everyone....time to admit a terrible fault of mine.  Yep, the whole purpose of the  Scrap Yourself Challenge Blog is to tell about yourself!  This challenge is about hoarding or collecting.  I wouldn't necessarily say I collect things, but I definitely hoard.  And, I definitely have way too much of everything.  90% of my things just sit there collecting dust.   Sorry the photo isn't better.  I am having problems taking good photos.  It is perfectly even and straight in real life - I promise.  I hope you will click on the link above and play along with us!

The Color Room Palette #5

Although, I don't do them much, I still love vintage style lo's.  Every once in a while it is kind of fun to do them.  The color palette over at The Color Room this week is more muted, so this vintage photo worked perfect.  You should check them out!

Thanks for stopping by!

Whoo Hoo! I get to roll around in ribbon!! Plus there is a Blog Hop today!

Well, if I wanted to roll around in it, because I'll be getting tons of it!  However, seeing as I might get all tangled up, I might not.  I am excited to announce that I will be a part of the Really Reasonable Ribbon design team.  When I saw the call, I knew it would be perfect for me.  I was amazed at how often I use ribbon on my lo's.  If I am going to be doing it anyway, why not do for someone else too!  Makes sense, hmmm?  It looks like a lot of the new team are card makers, and they are pretty amazing at that.  LOL, I know they didn't pick me for my card making skills.  Here is a list of the new team and the guest designers.  Here's a shout out to my very very (I say it any more than that because she'll get a big head) good friend Robbie Herring, who will be a monthly ribbon club designer.

Here's the new girls, and check below for info on our blog hop!!
